Pressed candy is a type of hard candy formed by compressing powdered raw materials under high pressure.
It is suitable for making mints, milk tablets, effervescent tablets, or functional candies.

Mold Confirmation
➡️ Customer-supplied molds: 3D drawings or physical molds are required. The material (usually pharmaceutical-grade stainless steel) shall be confirmed, and the molds shall be sent to the factory for compatibility testing.
➡️ Factory existing molds: Select shapes from the factory mold library (round, square, special-shaped, animal/letter-shaped, etc.), usually no mold opening fee is required.
➡️ New mold development: If no suitable mold is available, a new mold needs to be developed. The cycle is about 15–25 days, and the cost is calculated based on complexity.

Formula & Flavor Development
· Basic Flavors: Fruit flavors (strawberry, lemon, orange), mint flavors (spearmint, extra cool mint), milk flavors, etc.
· Functional Additives: Vitamin C, probiotics, caffeine, plant extracts, etc., can be added (attention shall be paid to the additive regulations of the target country for export).
· Sweetener Options: Sucrose, sugar-free (xylitol) or low-sugar formulas can be selected according to market preferences.
· Sampling: The factory prepares samples to confirm taste, sweetness, and disintegration/melting speed (chewable tablets).

Color & Appearance
· Edible colorings are available (synthetic colorings or natural colorings such as beet red, curcumin).
· Two-color / layered: Custom double-layer pressed tablets (one color for the outer ring, another for the inner core) or speckled effect can be provided.

Packaging & Labeling
· Inner Packaging: Aluminum foil bags, blister packs (aluminum-plastic sheets), bottles.
· Outer Packaging: Custom color boxes, tin boxes or display boxes.
Customization Process for Chocolate Candies
Chocolate is temperature-sensitive, so the key points of customization lie in temperature adjustment, mouthfeel solubility, and oil stability.

Mold Confirmation
· Customer-supplied molds: Food-grade PC (polycarbonate) molds or silicone molds can be provided. PC molds feature high gloss and are suitable for pure cocoa butter chocolate; silicone molds are ideal for complex 3D shapes.
· Factory existing molds: Available molds include standard plates, spheres, truffles, and festival-themed shapes (hearts, Christmas trees, Easter eggs, etc.).

Chocolate Types & Flavors
Base Selection:
· Pure Cocoa Butter Chocolate: Cocoa butter content ranging from 30% to over 70% (dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate). Requires cold chain for export.
· Compound Chocolate: Uses vegetable oil instead of cocoa butter. Low cost and excellent heat resistance, suitable for export to high-temperature regions (e.g., Middle East, Africa).
Flavor Fillings:
Can be made into filled chocolates (soft center, liqueur center, jam, caramel sauce) or with crisped rice, nut fillings.

Color & Appearance
· Coloring: Fat-soluble pigments are used for spraying or hand-painting. Solid colors, gradient colors, and marble patterns are available.
· Decoration: Surface decorations such as gold leaf, silver dragees, cocoa powder, and freeze-dried fruit pieces can be added.

· Confirm product type (pressed candy / chocolate), target market, estimated quantity, and packaging format.

Mold Preparation (3–25 days)
Customer-supplied molds or factory existing molds. Lead time will be extended if new mold development is required.

Formula & Sampling (7–10 days)
Laboratory produces samples → customer confirms taste, color and appearance → sample sealed and retained.

Trial Production & Testing (5–7 days)
Arrange pilot (small-batch) production and send samples for approval.

Packaging Design & Finalization (concurrent with sampling)
Confirm design artwork → produce packaging materials (aluminum film, paper boxes, etc.).

Mass Production (15–30 days, depending on quantity)
Regular MOQ: Pressed candy: usually 1 ton or 500 pieces; Chocolate candy: usually 2–5 tons or 500 pieces.

Shipment & Documentation (3–5 days)
Packing → booking shipping space → issue export customs clearance documents (invoice, packing list, contract, declaration elements).
Warm Tips
1. Regarding Mold Ownership: If molds are provided by the customer or the mold opening fee is paid by the customer, the ownership of the molds shall belong to the customer. The factory shall keep the molds free of charge during the cooperation period and may return them upon termination of the agreement.
